Spinning Your Wheels? Think And Get Unstuck
Welcome to Assumption Inc., a home for thoughtful achievers. We have realized most of our biggest mistakes don’t come from a lack of intelligence, but rather from trying to solve the wrong problem.
Here, we question the obvious, expose hidden assumptions, and separate interpretation from reality. We explore options that may not have been apparent at first glance.
You will learn to:
Notice the assumptions hidden in plain sight.
Question the conclusions accepted as fact.
Make choices that more reflect who you are, not who you’re expected to be.
About The Author
I have spent a lifetime studying how people think, decide, and sometimes unknowingly work against themselves. My educational degrees are in Modern Languages, Business, and Computer Science.
My path has taken me through work in the humanities, finances, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior and life across several countries and cultures. At first glance, those experiences seem unrelated. But together they taught me one lesson that keeps proving itself: The biggest obstacles we face are rarely the ones we think we’re facing.
Whether we’re building businesses, navigating careers, adopting new technologies, or making deeply personal decisions, we often mistake our interpretation of reality for reality itself. That’s what fascinates me and that’s what you’ll find here.
What will you learn?
This isn’t a newsletter about philosophy, psychology, AI, business, or current events. Those are simply different windows into the same question: Why do intelligent people make decisions that later seem obvious in hindsight?
Together, we’ll uncover the hidden assumptions, invisible incentives, and quiet stories that shape how we think. You’ll learn to recognize patterns that most people overlook, ask better questions, and approach uncertainty with greater clarity.
The goal is to help you see what you may not have thought of before. Not to tell you what to think.
Who Is Assumption Inc. For?
You’ll probably feel at home here if you’ve ever found yourself asking:
Why do I keep ending up in the same situations?
Am I solving the right problem?
Is this belief actually true, or have I simply never questioned it?
Am I living according to my own values--or someone else’s expectations?
If those questions resonate with you, you’re exactly who I write for.
Because once you learn to question the lens through which you see the world, the world itself begins to look very different.
